A young girl navigates her third grade relationships, and square dancing.
Shot on a Bolex with a double exposure. The first exposure is the traditional ballerina and the second exposure is the modern dancer. During some of the takes, tape was used on the lens to make the modern dancer 'disappear'. All effects were done in camera with zero post production. The 16mm film was digitized by projecting it onto a white wall and recording it with a Canon 7D.
